What a great Mother's Day!

I don't think I need to say much, because these pictures tell a lot. What a great family I have!

Livvie is loving her crazy outfit!

My mom, and sister, and I are going to get some fun pictures taken, but you've got to love our "before" pictures! My girls and I laughed for 10 minutes trying to pick out of all the pictures Jessie found for us to put on the card.

My family made me wait in bed, and this healthy, yummy breakfast was well worth the wait.
Had I not found a huge pile of hidden clothes that a couple of girls really didn't want to clean up, it would have been perfect. But a little bit of bad reminds me how great the rest of the day was!
Thank you guys! You're the best!

Preschool is over :(

I really can't believe this was our last week! It's been crazy, and I'm so grateful for a patient, helpful husband. I still need to get my DVD's fixed (so frustrating--I'm going to learn to do this myself) and delivered though. I'm really going to miss those kids. I walked downstairs tonight, and really was overwhelmed with gratitude. I love being able to teach, and stay at home with my kids. I truly feel like I have the best job in the world! (I know some of you might think you have the best job, but do you get snacks and get to play?)

My exciting preschool news is that I just got a delivery from UPS...ZooPhonics! I know that not many of you think that's too cool, but I am dying! It was an expensive endeavor, but I think it will be such a great addition to my curriculum. Summer camp is my chance to play with ZooPhonics. Thank goodness for summer camp, because Livvie and I are at a loss when our preschool friends don't come over.

Here are a couple of cute pictures from our End of Year Program and our water party, and the poem these awesome kids memorized.

Now I know my ABCs, colors, shapes, and days,

I've learned some poems, sang some songs, rhymes and fingerplays.

I played outside on sunny days, and inside when it rained.

My little hands and little feet were busy everyday.

My teacher was Miss Sarah. We kept her on her toes.

She combed my hair, tied my shoes, and even wiped my nose! (very funny to 3 & 4 year olds)

But now it's time to say goodbye to all my preschool friends.

School is over; summer's here, but learning never ends!

Charlie and his Super Steppers

What a good dad these girls have! At the girls' dance review, they had dads and brothers do a dance with them...well the dads that would agree to actually do it. I don't think Charlie knew what he was exactly agreeing to, but the girls were so excited! Charlie stole the show! So many people came up to us afterwards to tell him how much they loved it, and then they'd tell the girls they did great too. Really, all three girls did an amazing job! Olivia even had a little solo where she got to show a tiny bit of her moves. They got flower corsages, and got to be introduced in their fancy dresses with their dads. The girls have loved dance this year, and it's been fun watching them perform throughout the year. The week after the review they tried out for next year, and they both made it. They did so well...flat splits and everything. I was so proud of them...and Charlie too! :)

Hayden is 6 ...and a cowboy!

My little boy is 6 years old, and I don't know how it happened! He had a great birthday! He got some way cool presents: digital camera, legos, and cowboy stuff galore. We don't know where he got it from, but he is a cowboy at heart. Rachel (Mike's new wife) has horses, and took Hayden on a horse ride in January. Hayden absolutely loved it, and was completely comfortable on Disco Dude. We went one more time before Rachel and Mike's wedding, and Rachel taught Hayden how to use the reins, brush the horse, and walk him. Hayden was in heaven! He's told everyone that he can "drive" a horse now. So when his birthday came a few days later, he was thrilled to get a real cowboy belt, Wranglers, and real boots and spurs. It was so neat to see how excited and grateful he was. He told us he can't wait to show the horse his new stuff. He really is a sweet little cowboy! Here's some of my favorite things about this awesome boy:
*He is sensitive to how others are feeling, and tries to help if you're sad or upset.
*He loves his sisters (most of the time), and is very protective of them.
*He is a hard worker...if it's outside work. This boy would sweep out the entire garage or the whole driveway if you wanted him to.
*He loves spending time with his dad, and wants to be just like him. Man, can they build some awesome lego creations!
*He loves school and learning.
*He will follow rules, and do what he is supposed to-no matter what!
In such a girly house, he stands his own. I love when he tells his dad that he needs boys club, and that they stick together. Even though I'm pretty much a girly mom, I am so blessed to have this one boy of mine. I can't imagine our life without our "super-hero-cowboy-cop" little boy!
We love you Hayden!!

Stolen Camera!

Well, when you swipe your mom's camera to take crazy pictures, and you're supposed to be going to bed, the evidence is going to end up on your mom's blog. :) I am glad that sometimes they are the best of friends...especially when they are supposed to be quiet and going to sleep. Even though they sometimes argue and are so 'bugged' at each other, I know that someday they'll forget all that and be great friends. I hope they have a great relationship like I do with my sister. (Love you, Jessie!) Sorry Sid and Hannah if you're a little embarrassed, but I warned you... Love, Mom

Hannah

My baby girl is not little anymore...I can't believe she's 10!! You can't fathom how fast they grow up until you have one of your own. I love how she's turning out though. Here's 10 things everyone should know about this awesome girl!
1. She's a good helper.
2. She's always willing to help with Livvie's hair.
3. Hannah's loves girly things.
4. She's works hard at school and is just a smart girl.
5. Wow, can she do some awesome hair-do's!
6. She practices the piano every morning without hardly any prodding.
7. She truly wants to do what's right.
8. She likes being in charge and is really responsible.
9. She loves shopping and doing girl things (even her mom's Diet Coke).
10. She's a wonderful dancer, and loves being a Super Stepper.

We love you Hannah! Mom and Dad

Merry Christmas!

Calvin, Chelsey, and the kids on the way to see the lights on Christmas Eve. (It may be Calvin's evil twin, but I think it's just him teasing Chelsey.)

Christmas lights at Thanksgiving Point

What happy, cute girls I have in their new jammies!

Do you think he was excited?!?

A smoker...we'll have good food and maybe I won't have to hear about it for awhile:) How nice that Charlie is that easily pleased. Thanks Nancy!

We had a wonderful, relaxing Christmas! We've been up at my parents' house since last weekend, and it's been so nice! It forced me to get Christmas stuff done a week early (which was crazy, chaotic, and I may not have been the nicest...sorry!). BUT, then I had time to relax and enjoy myself once we got here. We've been busy, but we've had fun. Charlie and I even got to go away for a night to Salt Lake and finish our shopping, see a movie, go to the temple, forget where we parked...and laugh our heads off! It was great! I wish that all the feelings and the way we act through the holidays would last the whole year through. I just love it! We love you all and hope your Christmas was as wonderful as ours has been!
